FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • DO I HAVE TO BE HOME DURING THE CLEANING?
    This is entirely up to you and your comfort level - Some people prefer to stay home, others prefer to leave and come home to a freshly cleaned space! By no means are you required to stay home. Being home during your Initial Cleaning Service might be a good idea however, in the event our cleaning technician or office staff has any questions we will connect with you via phone or email. We do ask that should you decide to stay home, to respectfully provide our cleaning technicians a "Cleaning Bubble" by remaining out of the room our cleaning staff are service. Should you be in an area of the home that is expected to be cleaned, our staff will advise you when they are ready to clean that space. This simply ensure we aren't stepping over each other and instead, provides us the space we need for our staff and equipment, to work safely and efficiently. This policy applies to all residents, guests, nanny's, etc.. who are visiting or staying in the home. We recommend to advise them of this request.
  • YOUR SERVICES AREN'T WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
    If you have a specific request it never hurts to ask! We use our packages as a baseline and guide our cleaning services and recommendations. We understand every home and property has different needs, and everyone's priorities look different based on preferences or priorities.
  • WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE?
    We provide cleaning services that are based on flat rates. We consider a number of factors contributing to the cost (i.e. Square footage, home, service type, service frequency, add-ons, time, # of pets and people, etc..). You always know what you're paying.   • DO YOU NEED TO MEET ME OR SEE MY HOUSE?
    We rarely require a walk through of a home or meeting. We require a Quote Request Form to be submitted, which typically provide us all the information we need to provide pricing You may submit this directly through our "Request a Quote" link or calling us directly. In the rate event, we may request a walk through. If we need further clarity beyond your quote request details, we will contact you via email or phone to coordinate a walk through.
  • CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DAY/TIME IN THE WEEK?
    We aim to book recurring services on a set schedule to maintain consistency for our clients and our staff. We will always try our best to accommodate specific requests regarding day of the week and time of day preferences. However, we do work within the restrictions of our already booked appointments and our staff availability. If we cannot accommodate we will offer an alternative option and place you on our cancellation list.
  • DO YOU OFFER GREEN CLEANING?
    ​We're happy to share that all of our products that go down the drain are biodegradable, septic friendly, and eco-friendly. This is at no extra charge, and included in all our services. We may use tougher products if necessary for specific tasks (i.e. Interior of ovens) to ensure the job gets done thoroughly. However, if you have an allergy or sensitivity we welcome you to mention this to us so we can ensure we respect these needs when we're in your home.
  • WE HAVE GUESTS VISITING IS THIS AN ISSUE?
    Should you or anyone visiting remain in the home during your services, we have absolutely no issue with this! We simply ask that you (and your guests) respectfully provide our cleaning technicians a "Cleaning Bubble" by remaining out of the room our cleaning staff are service. Should you be in an area of the home that is expected to be cleaned, our staff will advise you when they are ready to clean that space. We recommend to advise any of your guests of this policy to make sure everything can run as smoothly as possibly the day of your service.
  • ARE YOUR INSURED?
    We are! We hold liability insurance and WSIB coverage for all our staff. We don't contract services out, but rather have employees. All employees are screened thoroughly, provide in depth training, and are covered under our insurance.
  • ARE YOU OKAY WITH PETS?
    We love pets! We don’t mind having the company of a furry friend. However, if you have a pet that is not friendly or scared of newcomers, we ask that you have them kept in a separate space, in their crate, or make arrangements for them to be out of the home during our service.
  • ARE YOUR CLEANERS SCREENED?
    Our Cleaning Technicians are well vetted and screened. We don't just to have an extra set of hands - We seek out individuals who have high integrity, honest, welcoming, and looking to support their community. We do not contract work out, we hire employees who have been screened thoroughly, require up to date police checks, and regularly participate in training sessions to help strengthen our services. Our cleaning staff are friendly, love pets, and look forward to meeting other local families!
  • DO YOU BRING YOUR OWN SUPPLIES?
    YES! We come equipped with all necessary cleaning products. Many of our products are eco-friendly, biodegradable and septic friendly. We do request that you provide one toilet cleaning brush in each bathroom of your home or rental space though. Some clients have asked if we may use products they provide however, due to health and safety regulations we will only provide services with products we are familiar with, our staff are trained to use, and we are aware of the safety data should any incidents occur. We are always looking for ways to improve our services though, so we welcome you to contact us directly to submit feedback about the products we use or products you may recommend. Our Operations Manager will take your feedback to determine if any recommended products will improve our services.
